Williams, the largest BMW dealer in the North West of England, recently celebrated its 50th anniversary in Liverpool with a special event held at the Museum of Liverpool, featuring TV host Simon Rimmer as the emcee.
The occasion included a sneak peek of a documentary titled Liverpool Story, which highlights both the Williams family and their employees, many of whom work behind the scenes at the Great Howard Street and Pall Mall locations.
This film features genuine accounts that showcase the Williams culture and shines a light on employees sharing their long-standing experiences within the company.
During the event, Rimmer engaged in discussions with the documentary’s creator, Dan Draper, and family members of the Williams dynasty, whose ancestors also played a pivotal role in the business.
In addition to the film, Williams Liverpool BMW displayed a selection of classic models alongside their contemporary counterparts.
The Williams journey in Liverpool began 50 years ago when the family-owned enterprise opened its first location.
Initially based on Scotland Road, the operation combined a car dealership with a petrol station.
After two decades of service, the business made a significant investment into its current prominent site on Great Howard Street, which serves as a gateway to the city.
