During June 2024, Nio supplied 21,209 vehicles, marking a rise of 98.1% compared to the previous year. In the second quarter of 2024, Nio delivered 57,373 vehicles, reflecting a growth of 143.9% year-over-year. From January to June 2024, Nio distributed 87,426 vehicles, showing an increase of 60.2% year-over-year. The cumulative number of Nio vehicles delivered reached 537,020 by June 30, 2024.

Two Nio Houses unveiled worldwide, with 41 Power Swap Stations and electric charger stations in June

In June, Nio inaugurated 2 Nio Houses globally, in addition to setting up 12 Power Swap Stations and 29 charging stations. As of June 30, Nio has established 155 Nio Houses across the world and constructed 2,482 Power Swap Stations globally, including 806 stations on expressways in China. Nio has set up 3,910 Power Charger Stations and 22,800 chargers, and has connected with over 1,650,000 third-party chargers. Nio has provided power swap services to users over 47 million times in total. Nio has also rolled out 76 Power Journeys routes in China and one route in Europe in the Rhine Valley.

Nio Power and FAW Hongqi initiate reciprocal charging networks

On June 24, Wuhan Nio Energy Co., Ltd. (“Nio Power”) and FAW Hongqi Car Sales Co., Ltd. (“FAW Hongqi”) officially formed a partnership on charging networks. This collaboration, the first of its kind following the strategic cooperation accord between Nio and FAW Group on May 21, is designed to offer Hongqi customers seamless charging experiences through an extensive charging network and responsive enquiry services.

Nio Power and GAC Energy open charging networks to each other

On June 7, Wuhan Nio Energy Co., Ltd. (“Nio Power”) and GAC Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (“GACE”) entered into collaboration on charging networks. Under the agreement, the two companies will unlock their charging facilities to one another through dynamic data sharing between their charging platforms. The aim of this project is to deliver convenient charging services that are easily searchable and have broader coverage, and this initiative is the first to materialize after Nio and GAC Group signed the strategic cooperation agreement on charging and swapping on May 8.

Nio Power Swap Station 4.0 now operational

The first batch of Nio Power Swap Station 4.0 became operational on June 13. The fourth generation supports automated battery swap for multiple brands and various vehicle models. Nio, ONVO, and all strategic partners for battery swapping can utilize the new stations for an enhanced battery swapping experience that is more convenient than refueling with gas.

Nio Power collaborates with Zhongan Energy to launch the initial power swap station

On June 13, the first battery swapping station jointly developed by Nio Power and Zhongan Energy was formally introduced at the G40 Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway Luoji Service Area.

Nio unveils the user-focused all-time quality system

On June 26, 2024, Nio Quality Tour took place at F2 in NeoPark in Hefei, Anhui. Nio introduced the All-Time Quality (ATQ) system, prioritizing users’ interests.

Nio ES8, ET5, and ET5T top their respective segments in J.D. Power’s 2024 China NEV-QS Study

On June 6, J.D. Power, a consumer insight and market research organization, published its 2024 China New Energy Vehicle-Initial Quality Study (NEV-IQS). Nio ES8, ET5, and ET5T secured the top spots in the premium BEV and midsize BEV car segments.

Nio joins China’s ICV pilot initiative early on
