The initial round of competitions has concluded for the JConcepts racing squad, and they exhibit no indications of decelerating. Learn more about our ongoing triumphs on the circuit in this fresh version of the Racing Team Update!
We commence this week’s update in Chico, CA, the location of AMain Hobbies. They recently hosted the Kevin Jelich Oval Memorial dirt oval race, and team racer Kyle Layton emerged victorious in the Outlaw Sprint category!
Sharing the podium with him was another team member, Todd Pearson, who secured 3rd place!

Continuing our journey, we now head over the Rocky Mountains to MHOR RC Raceway in Aurora, CO. During their recent Turf Wars trophy event, team member Rob Sturghill engaged in three classifications. Concluding the event, he achieved a DNS in 17.5 2wd Buggy, secured 3rd place in Mod 2wd Buggy, and clinched both the TQ and first place in the 13.5 Stadium Truck class! Standing alongside him on the podium for the truck class was fellow JC racer Sam Ford in 3rd place!

Let’s transition to Oklahoma now to observe the team’s performance at various local events. Our first destination is Yukon, where Taylor Park hosted the 7th night of their points series. Let’s see how the team fared, commencing with Jen Lathrop, who excelled in both the Late Model and Outlaw Sprint categories by securing the TQ and emerging victorious in each. Joining her on the sprint podium was Tyler Keel, another JC participant, who secured 2nd place!
In the Midget class, Jen participated again, but the victory in this category was claimed by her fellow teammate Randy Lathrop! Completing the JConcepts sweep on the midget podium was JC driver David Alford in 3rd place!
Billy Caldwell, a team driver, also competed in two categories at this event, finishing 6th overall in Outlaw Sprint and securing 4th place in the Midget class!

Remaining in the same state, team driver Kevin Mcnatt recently journeyed to MOJO Hobby in Oklahoma City to participate in the WFO Dirt Oval Series.
The victory in the SC Mod category went to him after securing the TQ position!

In Huntsville, AL, our next update comes from the talented racer Randy Enger, who recently participated at the Rocket City Challenge organized by RC3. Enger competed in the 1/8 Electric and Nitro Buggy classes, securing a noteworthy 3rd place in e-buggy and claiming victory in the nitro Buggy class!

Our next destination is Loganville RC Complex in Loganville, GA, where Shay Brand secured a victory at the World’s Benefit Race benefiting local racers heading to Spain for the IFMAR 1:8 Nitro Buggy Worlds. Brand emerged victorious in the 1/8 Nitro Buggy class while Mark Moon secured a 2nd place finish!

Heading up to Thunder Alley RC Speedway in Lucama, NC, Josh Parrish showcased a fantastic performance at the ProTek Champions Challenge, securing TQ positions and victories in both the Mod 2wd and 4wd Buggy classes!
Also at the event was JConcepts driver Ryan Caudle, who performed admirably in multiple classes, securing podium finishes and a win in the Pro2 Short Course Truck category!

Continuing our journey, we arrive at RC Madness in Enfield, CT, witnessing a stellar performance by Eric Bresnahan at the USGP trophy race, where he secured a 4th place finish in 17.5 2wd Buggy and emerged victorious in the Stadium Truck class!

Our final stop takes us to LCRC Raceway in Oakland Mills, PA, where Matt Adams participated in the Dream Race dirt oval trophy event, securing a podium finish in the 360 Sprint class after a challenging race in the Midget class!
