TRX Racing Engines: Competition-Grade Power, RTR Convenience
There was once a time when going nitro meant settling for an anemic “sport” engine unless you had the cash for a powerful aftermarket mill and the know-how to install it properly. Traxxas changed all that with the TRX 2.5 Racing Engine. Designed in-house to deliver competition-grade power in Traxxas models without compromising reliability, durability, or easy operation, the engine turned the nitro world upside down. Engine-power experts strapped the TRX 2.5 into their dynos and discovered the 2.5 matched or exceeded the output of premium aftermarket engines costing much more.

The TRX 2.5 was just the beginning. In the quest for even more power, Traxxas developed the TRX 3.3 Racing Engine. The displacement increase from 2.5 cc to 3.3 cc put T-Maxx® and Revo® on top as RC’s fastest nitro monster trucks, and made the lightweight Jato® stadium truck 65+ mph ready right out of the box. Today, the TRX 2.5 and TRX 3.3 Racing Engines are unchallenged as powerful, durable, reliable, and easy-to-operate nitro engines. Nothing else can match the TRX Racing Engines for fuel-power performance, fun, and excitement, and only Traxxas has them.

TRAXXAS NITRO MODELS

Stadium Trucks
Stadium trucks are lightweight, 2WD machines designed for versatile nitro-power fun both on and off the road. Stadium trucks are more compact and lower-slung than short-course and monster trucks, giving them more responsive handling in smooth conditions at the expense of rough-terrain stability. As for speed, the combination of light weight and 2WD makes the stadium trucks the fastest vehicles in the Traxxas nitro lineup.

Jato® 3.3 – 2WD, 65+ mph, Telemetry Equipped
Traxxas’ fastest nitro model! A favorite of countless speed-runners and drag racers, the Jato 3.3 is a wild ride optimized for high-velocity street action with road-grabbing Anaconda® tires on 2.8” wheels. The TRX 3.3 Racing Engine is coupled to an aluminum Resonator pipe tuned for high-RPM power, and the drivetrain is competition-grade with a silicone-oil-filled differential, auto-shifting 2-speed transmission, and Torque Control slipper clutch. Traxxas Stability Management is standard too—a must in this insane machine.

Short-Course Trucks
It’s hard to beat a short-course truck for rugged durability, multi-terrain versatility, realistic looks, and all-around fun. The full-fender truck body provides excellent crash-damage protection, and high ground clearance gives short-course trucks a rough-terrain edge exceeded only by monster trucks.

Nitro Slash® – 2WD, 50+ mph
The award-winning, best-selling, all-time-favorite Slash—with nitro power! The TRX 2.5 would have been plenty of engine for the Nitro Slash, but it’s got the TRX 3.3 anyway because more is more. TSM makes it easy to put the power down like a pro, and all the suspension and steering gear come straight from the electric Slash so you know it’s a tough truck. Ultra Shock suspension, authentic Pro 2 styling with replica graphics and realistic wheels and tires, and high-torque servos equip the short-course superstar.

Slayer® Pro 4X4 – 4X4, 50+ mph
If what you’re after is the ultimate nitro-burning short-course truck, Slayer Pro 4X4 combines big TRX 3.3 Racing Engine horsepower, full-time 4WD, and state-of-the art suspension on a high-tech semi-monocoque chassis to deliver a short-course nitro experience like no other. The supple GTR shocks are inboard on the chassis for a lower center of gravity, while the Revo-style chassis increases ground clearance. All four tires pour power into the ground for unbeatable traction and aggressive TSM-augmented handling no matter where you drive.

Monster Trucks
Huge nitro horsepower and massive monster tires—who can resist that combo? Traxxas does it best, with T-Maxx Classic, T-Maxx 3.3, and Revo 3.3 each taking a different spin on the theme, each ready for the toughest terrain you can throw at them. Ultra-plush suspension and Traxxas-tough durability makes these RC’s mightiest monsters.

T-Maxx Classic – 4X4, 40+ mph
This is it, the truck that made nitro monster trucking the hottest ticket in RC. T-Maxx debuted on top and never turned in its crown as King of the Monsters. T-Maxx Classic has the signature look of the original, with the latest tech for fully modern nitro performance. Ultra-smooth, super-soft long travel suspension damped by eight Ultra Shocks give T-Maxx incredible bump-and-jump absorbing ability. The TRX 2.5 Racing Engine and auto-shifting 2-speed transmission put 40+ mph under your control, and T-Maxx’s remote-operated reversing transmission lets you shift into “R” to back out of trouble.

Take the T-Maxx, add TRX 3.3 Racing Engine power, and turn the tech up to 11—that’s the T-Maxx 3.3. The mightiest Maxx makes the most of the 3.3’s output with its polished Resonator pipe, and the Revo-grade drivetrain includes silicone-filled sealed differentials for handling second only to the Revo itself. TSM and T-Maxx’s high-torque digital steering servo deliver precision cornering you’ll feel at the wheel, and the extended 6061-T6 chassis puts an extra 30 mm between the wheels for superior stability when you’re pushing 45+ mph.

Revo 3.3 – 4X4, 45+ mph, Telemetry Equipped
Traxxas’ supreme monster truck is a high-tech tour de force, the bar-setter for ultimate big-tire performance and all-terrain capability. Undefeated as RC Car Action’s Best Nitro Truck since its debut, Revo 3.3 packs in Traxxas’ most cutting-edge chassis and suspension features. The 6061-T6 aluminum 3D semi-monocoque chassis is lightweight yet stiff, engineered specifically for the unique inboard suspension system. High-volume GTR shocks are mounted flat on the chassis and actuated by pushrods to give Revo deep suspension travel and high ground clearance while keeping the center of gravity low. Dual digital steering servos give Revo 3.3 twice the steering power of T-Maxx, and of course you get TRX 3.3 power for 45+ mph—which you can see for yourself via the Traxxas Link app, thanks to Revo’s installed telemetry sensors.
