However, rule-bender Mastermilo82 and a group of adventurous Dutch enthusiasts are proving otherwise with their first-generation Hyundai Tiburon, demonstrating that these elements might not be as crucial as commonly thought.
This group has gained popularity for their RollGolf build and other eccentric automotive exploits. However, they faced a significant challenge when a devastating fire in January destroyed their warehouse along with years of past projects. Fortunately, they appear to have made a quick recovery and are as enthusiastic as ever.
In their newest video, they illustrate just how far one can venture off-road with a battered Hyundai coupe and a resilient spirit. As you’ll see, the results are quite impressive.
The adventure kicks off at 1:33 with a brief exploration of the forest trail before their initial run. Preparation proves to be crucial. By 2:15, the blue Tiburon hits the dirt, charging through ruts, leaping over jumps, and enduring much more punishment than one would anticipate.
Although the car conks out several times, the team successfully revives it repeatedly. Ultimately, after nearly 15 minutes of challenging off-road driving, the Tiburon’s front suspension gives way, but the engine persists. They manage to implement a makeshift repair to get it moving once again, possibly paving the way for a future extraordinary build.
