There’s an abundance of clothing inspired by cars, but finding stylish options is rare. The collaboration between Toyota and HUF brings a unique and exceptional collection. Beyond just hats and t-shirts, the designs and colors are truly impressive. Don’t miss out on checking the Toyota Truck-themed bathroom rug.

While everyone is likely familiar with Toyota and its high-performance division known as Toyota Racing Development (TRD), HUF Worldwide might not be as well-known among car enthusiasts. Originally a boutique offering distinctive clothing in San Francisco around 2002, HUF transformed into a skate brand and has now evolved into a lifestyle brand that creates trendy products at prices catering to the affluent, childless demographic.

I’m a huge fan of car-related items, vintage off-road gear, and the nostalgic vibes of the 1970s, ’80s, and ’90s. It’s been quite some time since I last owned a Toyota, but I undoubtedly feel targeted by this captivating marketing campaign and will likely end up getting a rug, hat, or a handful of shirts. They even have an eye-catching Ivan Stewart Christmas sweater!

Go ahead and take a spin through the selection:

The random black rubber mat caught my eye—it resembles something you’d find in a bartender’s setup, but with a mechanic’s touch.

Some of these products are available in various colors, so if you’re interested, visit the HUF Worldwide website after November 9 (the launch date) to explore the full selection. While Toyota’s official announcement didn’t disclose pricing, expect it to be public on Thursday when these items are released on the HUF site.

From my understanding of these brands, I anticipate the prices will be higher but not exorbitant. My guess is they’ll have shirts priced under $40 and some long-sleeve options at or below $100.

Toyota describes this project as “‘70s graphics inspired,” which seems to encompass the overall aesthetic, even though the depicted vehicles are clearly from the ’80s and ’90s. Given that TRD was established in the ’70s, I find the mixture of eras perfectly acceptable.

Frankly, I’m starting to grow tired of the prevalent synthwave retro-future trend that has dominated in recent years. The subtle ’70s vibe combined with iconic cars from a later era creates an appealing blend, and I’m excited to see a collaboration between a car brand and fashion that genuinely excites me. Toyota, how about a GR86-themed collection next?
