According to the advertisement, someone from the Hermosa Beach area in California has built a veritable General Motors medley. The title identifies it as a GMC Denali, suggesting that it originally began its life as a 2011 model. However, the cab appears to be inspired by either a Chevrolet Avalanche or a Cadillac Escalade EXT, featuring rear doors and a short bed setup. It’s important to note that GMC never produced a version of the Avalanche.
Moving from that point, the design becomes even more unconventional. The front features what seems to be a hood and custom fenders borrowed from a Hummer H2, while the back adopts the same rear design from the H2, contrasting with the truck’s short bed.
It’s still unclear exactly how to categorize this truck, but all components are compatible since they are based on the same General Motors platform. The GMT900 chassis served as the foundation for various models, including the Chevrolet Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, and Avalanche, as well as their GMC and Cadillac counterparts.
Despite its quirky construction, the seller claims that this Humnali is loaded with features, including satellite navigation, a backup camera, remote start, air-conditioned and heated seats, premium sound system, heated rear seats, and even a rear-quarter TV system.
The seller also mentions that a standard 2011 GMC Sierra Denali with approximately 20,000 miles has a retail value around $34,000, along with an additional $20,000 attributed to “high-quality custom fabrications.” This raises the question of why the seller hasn’t taken the time to address what seems to be a stuck “CAPS LOCK” key on their keyboard.
