A fresh bespoke supercar, dubbed as the Huayra Epitome, has just been unveiled by Pagani. Produced by the Grandi Complicazioni segment, this model stands out as the pioneer in the Huayra family to come equipped with a manual gearbox.
According to Pagani, the Huayra Epitome embodies the zenith of present-day technology available in Pagani’s road-going vehicles. Its heart beats from an AMG-crafted 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbocharged engine, delivering a potent output of 864 hp at 6000 rpm and a torque peak of 811 lb-ft. This powerhouse is coupled with an Xtrac 7-speed manual transmission.
Pagani attests that through the electronically regulated differential and a racing-inspired tri-pod driveshaft, combined with the manual transmission, the driving encounter is rich in mechanical authenticity.
The Huayra Epitome comes equipped with a novel active suspension system that includes a “super soft” mode for added comfort during bumpy rides. This suspension system automatically reverts to the standard setting once surpassing 93 mph.
The Epitome boasts a featherweight 6-path titanium exhaust system and incorporates the concept of a blown diffuser for generating supplementary downforce.
The aesthetics of this solitary Huayra Epitome takes inspiration from the client’s Imola Coupe. It showcases exclusive front and rear bumpers, distinct light clusters, a redesigned hood, and fresh wheel arch air extractor vents. The seamlessly integrated rear spoiler on this model exudes more elegance than that of the Huayra BC.
According to the manufacturer, the Epitome emerges as the “inaugural Huayra furnished with a manual gearbox,” sparking speculations about potential custom Huayras in the pipeline.
