Not solely due to Max Verstappen’s anticipated dominance, but mainly because there was little else of interest during the 90-minute event. Perhaps Ferrari turning a blind eye to Sainz’s accomplishments played a role? Possibly.
On the flip side, my enjoyment peaked while watching the FIA World Endurance Championship contest in Qatar, concluding shortly after the F1 race on Saturday afternoon. Witnessing a packed Hypercar class of manufacturers and the mishap of Peugeot made it a captivating race. And who could overlook Porsche clinching its inaugural Hypercar victory thanks to a serendipitous, $5 sticker. Yes, you read it right.
This prompts me to pose the question: Which is the most exhilarating motorsport series around?
My verdict leans towards IndyCar. True, it may typically feature a Penske or Chip Ganassi vehicle contending for pole position or the overall triumph, but the reality is, nearly every contender has a shot at victory in IndyCar. Be it on street circuits, road courses, or the iconic Indy 500, I am convinced IndyCar stands out as the most electrifying series.
Of course, there’s also NASCAR and MotoGP, offering us nail-biting, edge-of-the-seat finishes consistently. So, what do you reckon?
