Pagani persists in producing exclusive editions of the Huayra supercar, stepping in the tracks of the Zonda’s heritage. Unveiled at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, the most recent variant, the Huayra Epitome, marks a milestone as the primary Huayra to showcase a manual gearbox. This custom model was specifically requested by a selective patron in pursuit of the quintessential Pagani experience with a manual transmission.
The Huayra Epitome comes equipped with a seven-speed manual gearbox from Xtrac, featuring the latest triple-disc clutch for optimal torque transfer. The gearbox is artfully exhibited within an aluminum enclosure with an open-gate design, reminiscent of the Utopia. Propelling the Epitome is a Mercedes-AMG twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 engine, producing 852 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque, capable of achieving a maximum speed of 350km/h.
Pagani technicians have perfected the suspension, minimizing pitching and rolling compared to the usual Huayra. Nonetheless, a “Super Soft” mode ensures a comfortable ride for relaxed drives, automatically disengaging at 150 km/h.
The exterior of the Huayra Epitome showcases redesigned front and rear bumpers, updated LED accents, and an enlarged grille for enhanced airflow. A noticeable integrated rear wing embellishes the boot lid, while the whole body is handcrafted from dark blue carbon fiber with gold touches and wheels, emanating a luxurious appearance.
The Epitome was developed by the Grandi Complicazioni special vehicles division at Pagani, requiring nine months for planning and ten months for assembly. Nevertheless, this distinct Huayra Epitome stands as a singular creation, making it an unreachable aspiration for other aficionados.
The 2024 Pagani Huayra Epitome is set to make its public premiere during The Goodwood Festival of Speed, signifying Pagani’s dedication and unwavering ambition to craft individualized projects for its most esteemed clients.
