The 2023 V12 Vantage marks the end of an era for Aston Martin as they present the V12 Vantage Roadster. This convertible version of the compact sports car is a limited edition model, with just 249 units set for production, all of which have already been reserved.

Featuring a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine producing an impressive 690 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque, this V12 Vantage Roadster accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and can reach a top speed of 200 mph. The convertible top opens and closes in under seven seconds, operable at speeds of up to 31 mph.

The vehicle is equipped with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission sending power to a mechanical limited-slip differential in the rear. With widened tracks and enhanced aero components providing up to 476 pounds of downforce, the V12 Vantage Roadster offers exceptional handling capabilities. Additionally, it shares the same suspension system as the V8 model but features bespoke adaptive damper tuning.

Enhanced with a striking design and advanced performance attributes, the V12 Vantage Roadster exemplifies Aston Martin’s commitment to engineering excellence and automotive luxury.

Carbon ceramic standard brakes are 50 pounds lighter than equivalent steels. Carbon fiber makes up the front bumper, hood, fenders, and side sills, while the rear bumper and deck lid are crafted from a weight-saving composite material. The battery and exhaust are also lightweight, with the V12 Vantage Roadster’s exhaust made of 1 mm-thick stainless steel, weighing 16 pounds less than the V8 version.

The Roadster model of the V12 Vantage does not come with the large rear wing by default, but it can be added as an optional feature. The wheels are 21 inches in diameter, with a lightweight forged option reducing unsprung mass by over 17 pounds. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires provide excellent grip, regardless of the wheel choice selected, or rather, the wheel chosen by the affluent Aston Martin collector who has already placed their order. Apologies.

Deliveries are scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2022.
