  • The price of the 2025 Chevy Corvette is set at $69,995
  • Both the Corvette E-Ray and Z06 have seen a $2,000 price hike
  • The 2025 Corvette lineup remains largely unchanged aside from the introduction of the ZR1 variant

Entering the 2025 model year, the Chevrolet Corvette sees minimal alterations. However, for enthusiasts seeking high performance, there’s a fresh iteration of the ZR1 model available.

This model joins the existing Stingray, E-Ray, and Z06 versions, all of which maintain their core features. Some pricing adjustments have been made, though.

A representative from Chevy confirmed to Motor Authority that the base cost of the Stingray begins at $69,995 for 2025. The electrified E-Ray starts at $108,595 while the track-focused Z06 starts at $113,795. These figures include a $1,695 destination fee.

While the Stingray’s pricing remains the same as the previous year, both the E-Ray and Z06 have increased by $2,000. A convertible variant remains an option, adding a $7,000 premium for each model.

Most of the 2025 range is anticipated to arrive in showrooms later this year. However, the new ZR1, recently unveiled, is not expected in showrooms until the following year. Although Chevy has not disclosed a price, it is anticipated to fall within the high $100,000 range to start. Prices for fully equipped models could surpass the $200,000 threshold, marking a first for American sports cars.

While this may seem steep, the vehicle will deliver a maximum of 1,064 hp from a freshly engineered twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V-8 engine. It will also distinguish itself from the other 2025 Corvette lineup with a distinct split rear window that pays homage to a design feature from the 1963 Corvette while also serving an aerodynamic purpose. An optional ZTK Performance Package adds numerous extra aerodynamic enhancements that collectively enhance maximum downforce to 1,200 pounds.

The Corvette Stingray, the only model available at the 2020 debut of the mid-engine C8 Corvette, may have less power, but it is certainly a contender that shouldn’t be underestimated. Its 6.2-liter V-8 engine produces 490 hp as standard, which can be increased to 495 hp with an optional performance exhaust.

The Corvette E-Ray, a new inclusion in 2024, pairs the Stingray’s V-8 engine with a 160-hp front-mounted electric motor, achieving a total output of 655 hp and all-wheel drive. It also boasts a body that is 3.6 inches wider, a trait it shares with the Z06.

The Corvette Z06, honored as a Best Car to Buy by Motor Authority, was introduced in 2023 and features a naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V-8 engine that is related to the ZR1 engine. Referred to as the LT6 (with the ZR1 engine designated LT7), this engine delivers an astounding 670 hp without utilizing forced induction, making it the most potent naturally aspirated V-8 engine in a production vehicle.

Changes for the 2025 model year include new exterior color options in Competition Yellow Tintcoat Metallic and Hysteria Purple Metallic, as well as a new interior trim color, Habanero. Additionally, blue contrast stitching on a black interior is now available. The brake calipers can now be accented in Velocity Yellow. A leather steering wheel is also newly offered on most configurations.

For the Stingray model, the Z51 Performance Package introduces a new spoiler, and the Z06 model offers a 10-spoke wheel option with four paint finishes to select from.

All 2025 Corvette models, including the ZR1, are equipped with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle.
