If you’re as enthusiastic as we are about the fresh M5, you’re in luck. We’re thrilled to unveil the latest images of the highly anticipated G90 model. BMW’s newest high-performance sedan is captured on camera in Fire Red, a striking hue referred to as Vegas Red in the US. This particular vehicle presents an opportunity to witness the AMG E63 competitor with two-tone wheels, a departure from the customary all-black rims.
Similar to most G90 configurations we’ve encountered, this one features the available carbon fiber enhancements. The standard sunroof has been replaced by a lightweight panel that trims off 66 lbs (30 kg). Furthermore, the side mirror covers and trunk lid spoiler are constructed from carbon fiber and come at an extra cost. In contrast to the majority of new M5 models promoted by BMW, this one forgoes the carbon-ceramic braking system. The upgraded arrangement can be easily recognized by the gold calipers.
It’s evident that this 2025 M5 boasts a bold specification, featuring a blend of Silverstone and Black Merino leather upholstery. To accentuate the interior, BMW has chosen a carbon fiber trim with a glossy finish. Notably, the G90 marks the introduction of a compact gear selector in an M-branded setting. Adjacent to it, a rotary knob with the M logo for the iDrive controller adds a distinctive touch.
Regarding branding, the rear of the car sports black emblems with a silver outline, reminiscent of the smaller 2025 M2, M3, and M4 models. As we anticipate the upcoming debut of the M5 Touring, we can expect to see more of this darkened insignia. The G99, rumored to be the enigmatic vehicle that BMW M will unveil at Pebble Beach on August 15.
The G90 model has recently entered full-scale production and is set to hit the market in early November. By that time, its brand-new estate variant will have already commenced assembly at the Dingolfing plant.
