The 2023 Kia Telluride Showcases an Ingenious Fix for an Annoying Seat Belt Issue

The 2023 Kia Telluride boasts many admirable qualities. Its sleek appearance and impressive performance are notable, but one standout feature caught my attention during the extended weekend I spent with it. Kia has implemented a highly innovative seat belt management system for passengers in the second and third rows that sets it apart from other vehicles. Kudos to Kia for this clever design.

One minor annoyance for me is the sound of seat belts clanking in the cabin when driving alone. I detest any interior rattling, especially when it originates from something that should be securely fastened, like a seat belt. Though seemingly trivial and bordering on pettiness, I’m sure some of you can relate to this sentiment.

The Telluride, however, addresses this issue elegantly! The designers have incorporated small plastic holders for the five rear passenger seat belts, providing a convenient spot to secure them when not in use. Here’s a glimpse of the solution in the second row:
