Updated adaptive dampers and chassis bushings aim to offer a smoother ride at lower speeds, whereas the new electronic power-assisted steering system reportedly delivers more immediate responses. Furthermore, minor adjustments have been applied to the Dynamic driving mode, likely enhancing its already dynamic performance.
The revised handling attributes and increased torque have corresponded with subtly refreshed aesthetics. The new front fascia not only exudes a more aggressive stance but also enhances aerodynamics, resulting in a 35 percent decrease in lift and a more sleek F-Pace boasting a drag coefficient of 0.36. Taillights and wheels have also received an update.
Internally, the SVR now showcases an 11.4-inch curved touchscreen with wireless capabilities, a fresh steering wheel furnished with zinc-alloy shift paddles, and a newly leather-wrapped gear lever. Alcantara now embellishes the seats and door panels, accompanied by standard aluminum or optional open-pore carbon accents for the hard interior elements.
The official pricing for the 2021 Jaguar F-Pace SVR has not been announced yet, but it is expected to remain close to the $81,015 price tag of the 2020 model. Will the enhancements in the F-Pace’s mid-cycle update entice you away from a Porsche Macan Turbo, Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S, BMW X3 M, or Alfa Romeo’s Stelvio Quadrifoglio?
