Movies cars have their dedicated fan base in the automotive realm and Bond vehicles rank among the finest. While the Jurassic Park Jeep YJs and Ford Explorers are commendable, few can match the sophistication of the vehicles 007 and his foes have driven over the years. Land Rover’s Defender 110, prominently featured in the upcoming Bond film No Time to Die, will have an exclusive edition available for affluent enthusiasts who wish to own a piece of the action.

As expected, all models will sport a sleek black finish, showcasing Land Rover’s “Extended Black Pack.” The standout accents are the Xenon Blue front brake calipers and, surprisingly, chrome exhaust tips. Additionally, a golden 007 badge adorns the rear, alongside the standard Defender nameplate, executed with finesse unlike some other versions.

The 22-inch five-spoke wheels are wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion tires. These tires are optimized for solid ground rather than muddy terrains, given each Defender Bond Edition houses a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine. With a potent 518 horsepower and 461 pound-feet of torque at the ready, drivers can confidently accelerate. Land Rover boasts a 0 to 60 mph time of 5.1 seconds, and from our observations, these vehicles can withstand rigorous driving.

Special elements of this Defender include illuminated door sills featuring the “Defender | 007” inscription and an exclusive animation that illuminates the SUV’s Pivi Pro infotainment screen. While it may not display Daniel Craig sliding across the screen at startup, it does offer 007 puddle lights, sure to spark conversation with any valet.

Potential buyers of these vehicles may not prioritize the uniquely-tuned suspension or the Electronic Active Rear Differential in the Defender V8, but they will appreciate the limited production run of just 300 units. The starting price for each model is $115,950, excluding destination fees, which still remains significantly lower than Aston Martin’s latest Bond-inspired release.

Don’t miss the premiere of No Time to Die on October 8, 2021, a considerable delay from its original release date.
