The team at Electrek discovered and shared a video on Wednesday featuring a white pre-production Model 3 test vehicle on the road. As noted by the electric car news site, the vehicle exhibits some unusual panel gaps at the rear—an issue not uncommon for Tesla models—but overall, it aligns with what has been seen in earlier Model 3 test sightings. The white color of the car allows for a clearer view of what is likely the final design, further enhanced by the video’s 4K resolution.
During a TED talk last Friday, Musk stated that Tesla is on track to commence Model 3 production in July. However, it remains uncertain whether the company will achieve its production targets by the end of the year.
