Stellantis has announced the unexpected passing of Mark Pickles, its parts and service director.

Pickles had a notable career that started in the dealership sector, where he worked for five years at Hartwell, concluding his tenure there as an aftersales manager. He then joined Groupe PSA in 2000, taking on the role of area aftersales manager.

Throughout his more than 20 years with PSA and Stellantis, he held several senior positions, including managing director of the leasing division Free2Move, parts and service director for Peugeot UK, and group aftersales operations director, where he was instrumental in merging the aftersales functions of the Groupe PSA brands.

In 2021, he assumed the role of parts and service director for Stellantis, which represented the pinnacle of his extensive automotive career.

Maria Grazia Davino, the managing director of Stellantis UK, honored his influence and legacy, remarking, “Mark’s contributions to the company extended well beyond his functional duties. His extensive experience provided a broader perspective for both the business and the industry at large, and he was highly respected by his colleagues here and his peers beyond.”

Davino also emphasized Pickles’ commitment to nurturing new talent, saying, “He was a passionate supporter of developing new professionals and generously shared his time and knowledge to guide his colleagues.”

“His passing creates a significant void in the hearts and minds of everyone at Stellantis. We extend our deepest condolences to his wife and family during this profoundly sad time.”
