These vehicles aren’t just run-of-the-mill Aventadors. The Ultimae serves as the swan song to the iconic model from the raging bull, delivering 769 horsepower from its 6.5-liter V12 engine. With its carbon fiber structure reducing the weight to slightly over 3,400 pounds, this powertrain propels the vehicle from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 2.8 seconds, pushing onwards to a top speed of 221 mph.
These models are notably more exclusive than standard Aventadors. Lamborghini manufactured only 350 units of the Ultimae Coupe and 250 of the Roadster. In fact, the half-million-dollar meticulously crafted cars are of such significance to Lamborghini that the automaker recommenced Aventador production last year to substitute the 15 examples lost aboard the sinking Felicity Ace off the Portuguese coast.
Given their substantial initial cost, it’s improbable that either car is beyond repair, but I wouldn’t want to be responsible for footing the bill in this incident. The Roadster exhibits damage to its front bumper, both fenders, and hood, while the coupe’s damage remains indistinct due to camera angles. Nevertheless, witnessing two of these rare specimens collide is undoubtedly stirring envy among other owners as the value of their vehicles likely surges.
