Škoda Auto has revealed the inaugural silhouette visuals of the recently revamped Elroq. This fully electric compact SUV marks Škoda’s introductory production model that embraces the Modern Solid design ethos. The simplistic exterior blends sturdiness, utility, and genuineness while projecting a feeling of security and potency. The grand debut of the Škoda Elroq in autumn 2024 signifies the inception of Škoda’s fresh e-model initiative, under which six battery-electric models will be rolled out in the forthcoming years.
“Design holds significant importance at Škoda, serving as a pivotal element of the brand’s identity and a key driver of our accomplishments. The continual evolution of primary visual components poses itself as both a challenging and exhilarating endeavor. Thus, my team and I are delighted to showcase the sneak peek of the foremost Škoda model that embodies the novel Modern Solid design approach, encompassing elements like the Tech-Deck Face and a more rugged overall demeanor. Furthermore, it gains distinction as the first vehicle in our lineup to sport Škoda branding on its sharply defined hood. Without a doubt, our brand-new Elroq sets a novel precedence and stands out as a true spectacle.”

Fresh facade featuring Škoda branding and Tech-Deck Face
The front design of the Škoda Elroq is distinguished by its split headlight layout. The narrower upper segment fluently merges into the fenders. The Škoda emblem now conspicuously graces the hood, embodying Škoda’s corporate identity. The innovative Tech-Deck Face represents a contemporary, identifiable reinterpretation of the classic Škoda grille, boasting a flatter and broader profile. Furthermore, the car boasts sizable wheels that elevate its robust aesthetics, while state-of-the-art LED Matrix headlights finalize the Škoda Elroq’s remarkable visage.
Inventive styling harmonizing with MEB engineering
The Elroq will become Škoda’s third model based on Volkswagen Group’s MEB modular electric vehicle platform, following the Enyaq and the Enyaq Coupé. Simultaneously, the electric equivalent to the Karoq will inaugurate the Czech automaker’s fresh e-mobility initiative, introducing six battery-electric models in the impending years. The entirely new compact SUV will offer a capacious interior and remarkable practicality, aligning with the brand’s dedication to convenience and usefulness. The global debut of the Škoda Elroq is scheduled for later this year.
