When she arrived at his home in Mississauga, near Toronto, she expressed interest in the SUV but mentioned she was waiting for her father. She asked if she could inspect the Cayenne while waiting, and the owner agreed.
Security footage reveals the owner exiting the car while the woman remains seated in the driver’s seat. The owner, who wished to stay anonymous, stated that the woman lured him out by asking to examine the engine. While the video does not confirm this, it does show him moving toward the back of the SUV, seemingly attempting to unlock a door.
It’s at this moment that the potential buyer reveals her true intentions, transforming into a car thief. She presses the accelerator, swiftly reversing out of the driveway and striking the owner before crashing into another vehicle parked across the street. Remarkably, driven by adrenaline, the owner manages to stand back up and approach the Cayenne, but the woman speeds away.
This theft occurred in broad daylight on a weekday afternoon, with the roadway bustling with vehicles and pedestrians passing by. However, the most outrageous aspect of the incident is yet to come.
Reports suggest that the woman was dropped off in what appeared to be a blue BMW X5, while another vehicle—a gray Bentley Bentayga—was seen waiting across the street. Eyewitnesses speculate that these vehicles could indicate a more extensive car theft operation, rather than just a spontaneous crime.
The owner informed CTV News that he sustained serious injuries to his hands, elbows, and legs. Fortunately, he did not suffer any broken bones, but his recovery left him unable to walk for a week.
