Lamborghini Huracan TwinTurbo GTT-X Redefines Performance with 1,439 Wheel Horsepower
The internet has become a hub for videos showcasing twin-turbo Lamborghinis showcasing their incredible speed. Since the Gallardo debuted in 2003, automotive tuners have been enhancing Lamborghini’s V-10 models by adding turbochargers, pushing horsepower numbers into the thousands. This trend allows certain drivers to match their high-speed ambitions with their inflated egos, cruising through areas like South Florida and Dubai at dizzying speeds.
However, the Lamborghini Huracan TwinTurbo GTT-X stands out for its astonishing performance, boasting a staggering 1,439 wheel horsepower—a figure that isn’t a typo. This translates to nearly 1,700 horsepower at the crank, and, remarkably, this figure was achieved at low boost settings. According to Gosha Turbo Tech, the car retains its original seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and stock tires, which is no small feat.
The result of this powerful combination is impressive: the Huracan TwinTurbo GTT-X completed a quarter-mile run at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi in just 8.37 seconds, reaching a top speed of 170.5 miles per hour. In the midst of the automotive community’s current fascination with an 840-horsepower muscle car, it’s worth noting that this twin-turbo Lamborghini outpaced the Dodge Demon by 1.28 seconds, making it 13 percent faster down the drag strip.
With the Huracan’s dual drive wheels providing a significant traction advantage, it seems unlikely that the Demon could catch up, regardless of how many more horsepower enhancements might be added.
