The Celestiq’s screen boasts an 8k pixel density and incorporates Cadillac’s Digital Blinds Active Privacy feature, which dims the screen’s passenger side for the driver’s convenience. This allows passengers to watch movies or enjoy media without distracting the driver. While details remain speculative, it’s plausible that the Escalade will include these technologies. Similar tech can be found in other high-end vehicles like the BMW 7 Series’ 8k theater screen and the Mercedes EQS’ Hyperscreen with passenger-side dimming.
It is hoped that Cadillac retains the center console scroll wheel for the 2024 Escalade. The current model features a scroll wheel for infotainment system control (touchscreen functionality is also available), offering a practical physical interface while driving. Given its presence in the Celestiq, it’s likely that Cadillac will maintain this feature for the Escalade as well.
The unveiling of the 2024 Cadillac Escalade, alongside an electric Escalade IQ variant, is anticipated later this year, providing a glimpse at the magnitude of its new display.
