Appreciate the meticulous vacuuming that eliminates decades’ worth of debris accumulated in every crevice and corner of the vehicle. Next comes the soaping, scrubbing, and rinsing of the wheels, tires, and hubcaps. Subsequently, attention is directed towards the engine compartment, which is meticulously prepared and cleaned to ensure it gleams akin to its appearance nearly seven decades ago.
However, my favorite part is the process of wiping away all the grime adhered to the body. As the host pointed out, it’s probable that someone had intended to repaint the vehicle given that all of its trim had been removed. Nevertheless, the paint seems to be in relatively good condition considering the age of the car and how it has been stored throughout these years.
In the end, the petite Mercedes appears quite impressive after being pristinely cleaned. Unfortunately, it still lacks numerous trims, and we are unable to witness it adorned with its iconic three-pointed star grille, but that’s acceptable. Whatever awaits the roadster in the future will undoubtedly surpass what lies in its past.
