As the largest ship in the Princess Cruises fleet and the first of its Sphere class, Sun Princess made its debut earlier this spring but had primarily operated in the Mediterranean until recently.

Upon its arrival at Port Everglades, the ship embarked on a three-day preview cruise for media and travel agents followed by a five-day journey to The Bahamas.

Just yesterday, Sun Princess commenced its series of week-long Caribbean cruises, scheduled to run through March 2025.

The ship will alternate its seven-night itineraries between the Eastern and Western Caribbean. The Eastern Caribbean routes will include stops at Princess Cays, Grand Turk, and Puerto Plata.

Meanwhile, itineraries to the Western Caribbean will feature destinations such as Cozumel, Belize, and Roatan. Check for the best prices on Sun Princess cruises.

Lauderdale community. A journey aboard Sun Princess promises to be a SUNsational experience for cruise guests starting their adventures from Port Everglades.”
