New Chief of HR Appointed at Dana Incorporated

In an announcement today, Dana Incorporated (NYSE: DAN) welcomed Lisa Amend, a seasoned Dana employee, as the newly appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer.

Bringing over 20 years of experience as a labor and employment attorney, Ms. Amend has a strong background in various aspects of human resources, such as managing legal disputes, employee benefits, labor relations, and executive compensation. She will be overseeing the company’s human resources strategy and operations, including talent acquisition and development, diversity initiatives, employee engagement, and workforce planning.

Chairman and CEO James Kamsickas expressed his enthusiasm about Ms. Amend’s appointment, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome Lisa as our new Chief Human Resources Officer. Dana is a company that values its people and cultivates a culture focused on teamwork and integrity. I am eager to collaborate with Lisa as we continue to build upon our 120-year legacy of respect, collaboration, and ethical business practices.”

Having been part of Dana for more than 12 years, initially joining in 1998 within the Law Department, Ms. Amend returned in 2020 as Senior Legal Counsel. She later assumed the role of Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, and Assistant Secretary in 2023.

Prior to her tenure at Dana, Ms. Amend served as the managing counsel at Marathon Petroleum Corporation and practiced law at the firm Taft, Stettinius & Hollister LLP.

Expressing her excitement, Ms. Amend stated, “Leading Dana’s exceptional human resources team in this dynamic industry is a great honor. I am committed to continuing the remarkable progress that has positioned Dana as one of the most esteemed organizations in the sector over the past decade.”

Ms. Amend holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Miami University, a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, and an MBA from Bowling Green State University.
