The 40th anniversary of the iconic Hornet off-road buggy’s original launch is celebrated in 2024. To commemorate this occasion, Tamiya’s designers have crafted an engaging version that will surely captivate both new and seasoned hobbyists.
ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS
- 1/10 scale RC model assembly kit.
- The 0.7mm thick polycarbonate body retains the classic design of the original Hornet.
- The 2WD chassis showcases the same bathtub frame as the original Hornet. (Item 58336)
- While preserving the color scheme of the original Hornet, this kit introduces a modernized sticker layout.
- Equipped with a 540 brushed motor and ESC.
- Requirements for completion: 2-channel radio, steering servo, 7.2-7.4volt battery with compatible charger, and Tamiya PS paints.

- Suspension: 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension.
- Rear gearbox: Sealed gearbox featuring differential gear from the DT-02 chassis.
