Manheim Auction Services is preparing to unveil its new biweekly sales program at its Gloucester super center, starting on October 24.
The auction, which will kick off at 10 AM, will showcase more than 600 items valued at around £6.5 million. This impressive lineup will include vans, trucks, and plant equipment sourced from 48 different vendors. Bidders will have the option to participate both in person at the 9-acre location near Dursley, Gloucestershire, accessible from the M5, and online via the Simulcast platform.
Matthew Davock, the director of commercial vehicles at Manheim, commented, “This new sales program is set to introduce a vibrant element to the van, truck, and plant auction sector, starting with an exceptional first sale featuring nearly 50 vendors.”
The inventory will include offerings from companies such as Novuna, Arval, Zenith, VWFS, and Enterprise, among others. Buyers are encouraged to join either on-site or through the Simulcast platform.
Rob Atkinson, the director of HGV and industrial at Manheim, emphasized the reintroduction of live lane auctions for trucks and plant machinery: “In the past year, we’ve noted a significant increase in truck volumes and customer interest, and we’re thrilled to officially launch our dedicated drive-through auction site, reinforcing that Manheim Auction Services continues to lead the industry.”
