Vigilante Parking Justice: When Luxury Cars Take Up Too Much Space

In some instances, the best way to deal with questionable parking behavior is to retaliate in kind. For instance, encountering a luxury or sports car that sprawls across multiple parking spots offers a perfect opportunity for some light-hearted retaliation. One effective tactic is to squeeze another vehicle closely against the driver’s door, forcing the inconsiderate driver to find a creative way to enter their car.

Alternatively, if you have a friend joining in on the parking mischief, you might even block the offending car in on both sides, as witnessed when two heavily modified Jeep Wranglers trapped a Mercedes-Benz GLA250 in Oregon.

However, not every plan unfolds as intended. Take the situation in the video below, where yet another Jeep Wrangler—possibly reminiscent of the red Jeep from the Mercedes incident—attempts to pin in a stylish Nissan 300ZX. This car was parked just poorly enough to occupy more than one spot in a strip mall parking lot.

On closer inspection, the incident raises some suspicions. Here at The Drive, it seems somewhat improbable that either the Jeep driver or the person filming was unaware of the faux pas, especially since they appeared to wait around for the Nissan’s owner to return. Despite this, the short clip serves up an enjoyable spectacle, and we appreciate any opportunity to admire both a well-kept 300ZX and a ruggedly modified Wrangler.

P.S. Kudos to anyone who managed to read the video’s title in John Goodman’s voice!
