Mercedes has unveiled a more powerful variant of the AMG GT, named the 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro. Unlike its standard counterpart, the Pro version boosts the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine from 577 horsepower to 603 horsepower, with torque increasing to 627 lb-ft—an increase of 26 horsepower and 37 lb-ft.
Positioned between the regular GT63 and the high-performance S E Performance hybrid with 805 horsepower, the Pro can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 197 mph, a slight upgrade from the non-Pro variant’s 196 mph. It’s clear that the additional speed is meant for those who take their performance seriously.
In addition to the power boost, the Pro comes equipped with enhanced aerodynamics and cooling systems. Larger carbon intakes surrounding the grille help maintain optimal temperatures, resulting in an improved front design. Two additional radiators have been introduced in the front wheel arches, and both differentials’ and the all-wheel-drive transfer case’s radiators are now actively cooled.
Standard features also include active underbody and front fascia aerodynamics, as well as a fixed rear wing. The underbody air deflectors are similar to those found in the AMG One hypercar. Modifications to the brake cooling system and new air vane geometry enhance performance in that area. The Pro also boasts the largest brakes available from AMG, made of titanium-backed carbon ceramics. The car rides on forged 21-inch wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires, although buyers can opt for Cup 2 Rs at no extra cost.
This particular model showcases an appealing gray-on-silver color scheme. Although Mercedes has not yet disclosed the pricing for the Pro version, it is expected to exceed $200,000, given that the base GT63 starts around $180,000. Interestingly, the higher price tag may offer financial advantages to owners, potentially allowing them to categorize it as a business expense, given its “Pro” designation.
