If you thought Ram was going to take a break after unveiling a heavy-duty pickup truck capable of 1,000 pound-feet of torque straight from the factory, think again. This week also marks the Boston Auto Show, where Ram Trucks is showcasing the new Sport Package for the Ram Heavy Duty.

The Sport Package does not offer any performance enhancements—after all, achieving 1,000 pound-feet of torque is quite an accomplishment on its own. Instead, it boasts a sleek monochromatic design that features body-colored bumpers, door handles, and grille surrounds. Inside, the cabin has an all-black theme, including a black headliner and Piano Black accents.

Along with aesthetic upgrades, the Sport Package also introduces front and rear park-assist systems. When paired with a standard rear-view camera, these features should simplify the task of maneuvering the large truck.

This package is available on both the Ram Heavy Duty 2500 and 3500 models equipped with either the Big Horn (known as Lone Star in Texas) or Laramie packages. It can be added to any cab size and powertrain configuration.

Color choices for the Sport Package include Billet Silver, Patriot Blue, and Diamond Black Crystal, among nine additional options. This package will be ready for purchase when the new Ram Heavy Duty hits the market later this year..
