More than 3,000 independent garage members can now utilize The Motor Ombudsman’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service.
This newly available benefit is designed to assist member garages of the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) in efficiently managing and resolving consumer disputes.
The Motor Ombudsman, recognized as a CTSI-approved ADR provider, presents garages with a structured and unbiased approach to addressing customer complaints, potentially saving time and lowering expenses by resolving issues outside of court.
Members of the IAAF will gain streamlined access to The Motor Ombudsman’s ADR services, which allows them to participate in its accreditation program.
Garages that achieve accreditation will be able to display The Motor Ombudsman and CTSI Approved Code logos, enhancing their visibility through The Motor Ombudsman’s online Garage Finder.
Additionally, the scheme provides discounts on insurance and certification as extra incentives.
Mark Field, the chief executive of IAAF, stated, “We are continually seeking ways to enhance our support for members. By granting access to The Motor Ombudsman’s ADR services, we are empowering garages to foster strong customer relations and uphold the high standards associated with our federation.”
Bill Fennell, the managing director and chief ombudsman at The Motor Ombudsman, remarked: “We are thrilled to partner with IAAF to assist its members in boosting their credibility and managing disputes in an independent and impartial way, which will ultimately elevate industry standards.”
