HummingbirdEV tech powers Keshi Group electrical mining autos in China

US-based automobile electrification system provider HummingbirdEV has supplied 393 electrical mining autos powered by its EV applied sciences underneath a licensing settlement with Keshi Group, a China-based producer of coal mining autos and gear. They’re now in operation in Chinese language mines.

The autos have payload capacities of between 16,000 and 30,000 lbs. They embody HummingbirdEV’s 400 V and 800 V automobile system integration platforms, automobile administration unit, battery administration system, charging programs, bidirectional inverters and battery programs accommodating as much as 5C charging charges. Car sorts embody inspection, command and passenger autos in addition to material-hauling vans.
