Emulating its rivals, Genesis introduces its own inclusive leasing program that merges car payments, upkeep, and insurance into a single monthly charge. The initiative, dubbed “Genesis Spectrum,” will initially cater to new G70, G80, and G90 models. While Spectrum is anticipated to expand nationwide, its initial rollout will be confined to Florida.
The luxury subsidiary of Hyundai has not disclosed pricing details yet but mentions that it includes three years of complimentary scheduled maintenance, connected services, roadside assistance, along with the company’s existing Service Valet program. Through Service Valet, customers can conveniently arrange service appointments via a mobile app. The vehicle is then collected from a location of choice (e.g., their residence), a substitute vehicle is delivered, and upon completion of service, the customer’s car is returned. This eliminates the need for waiting rooms. While the concept is not groundbreaking in the industry, it is certainly a valuable benefit.
“Genesis Spectrum was formulated as a smooth leasing process that aligns with the Genesis brand and its principles,” stated Genesis COO Erwin Raphael. “Primarily, Genesis Spectrum values our clients’ time as their utmost luxury.”
Inquiries about the insurance provided by Spectrum should note that it is underwritten by Metlife Auto & Home.
Recently, Lexus revealed its own subscription service termed Lexus Complete Lease. Packaging the expenses of a vehicle, insurance, and upkeep into one monthly fee, this program is presently exclusively applicable to the UX crossover. Features akin to those found in Book by Cadillac and Care by Volvo are introduced. Volvo’s service even includes detailing, while Cadillac’s more expensive option permits subscribers to switch between various vehicles up to 18 times annually.
