Although the configurator for the 812 Superfast has been accessible in certain markets for a few days, it debuted on Ferrari’s American website this morning. Given that we at The Drive, along with many of our readers in the United States, are eager to engage with this news, we thought this would be the perfect distraction to enhance the rest of your workday, even if you don’t have the luxury of getting paid to browse the Ferrari site.
As expected from Ferrari, the new V12-powered 812 Superfast comes in an impressive array of 37 exterior colors, alongside a multitude of customization options to adapt the Italian supercar to your personal style. If you still can’t achieve the perfect configuration, Ferrari’s Tailor-Made division is ready to assist you in further personalizing your vehicle.
During our initial visit to the configurator, The Drive opted for a sophisticated setup for this latest two-seater supercar. We chose the exterior color Blu Swaters, likely translating to “blue sweaters” in Italian, and accentuated it with asymmetrical 20-inch wheels, Grigio Silverstone brake calipers, and a carbon fiber hubcap—because in our minds, we can afford to dream.
We also included black ceramic exhaust pipes, adaptive headlights, and a suspension lifter, acknowledging that even in our imaginations, we might still face the occasional speed bump.
Inside, we chose classic Daytona-style seats wrapped in Beige Tradizione leather, featuring contrasting black accents, along with a black dashboard to complement the interior. We even opted for an Alcantara headliner because that’s just the way we like it.
Lastly, we upgraded to a premium audio system, included a stylish LED display on the passenger’s side of the dashboard, and added a “handy fire extinguisher”—because it’s always wise to be prepared.
