The deadline for nominations is June 30.

Here at FastCasual, we are deeply enthusiastic about highlighting emerging brands, which is why we established the Excellent Presentation a decade ago to provide a platform for budding brands to seek guidance and attract investors. We are thrilled to announce the opening of nominations for this year’s event, where five brands will pitch their innovative ideas to participants of the Fast Casual Executive Summit, scheduled for Oct. 13-15 in Denver. A team of judges will select five brands to compete for recognition, a cash prize of $3,500, and one year of complimentary services from Ovation, a platform for guest feedback (Submit your brand for nomination here)

A panel of consultants will examine each participant and provide insightful input. To secure a spot as one of the five finalists who will present their ideas, fast casual brands must put forward their own nominations by June 30 and adhere to the following three criteria:

  • Need to have a minimum of one operational outlet — but no more than 10.
  • Should be in operation for at least 6 months but no longer than 5 years.
  • Must be willing to disclose revenue and average sales data.

By Aug. 21, FastCasual will inform the chosen finalists, who will receive two complimentary passes to attend this year’s summit. Finalists will be responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses.

“It’s our duty as publishers to facilitate connections among professionals within the industries we cover,” stated Kathy Doyle, CEO of Networld Media Group, the parent organization of FastCasual. “We firmly believe that those in attendance at the Excellent Presentation will be the first to witness, and potentially invest in, the future leaders of the fast casual sector.”
