For many, mowing the lawn is a dreaded task. While those with riding mowers might find it somewhat less tedious, it’s still an activity many would rather avoid. But imagine if your lawnmower was the incredible Lexus LFA, one of the coolest supercars in the world.

To be honest, this video doesn’t showcase traditional yard work; it features someone drifting through the grass. How often do we actually see a supercar being driven for pure enjoyment? Brace yourself, as this Lexus is set to impress.

The exhilarating sound people hear is the LFA’s high-revving V-10 engine, a standout feature of this supercar. Co-engineered with Yamaha, this 4.8-liter powerhouse delivers an impressive 553 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque. However, it’s not just the power that catches attention; it’s the car’s unique, exhilarating roar.

Instead of equipping its premiere coupe with a traditional V8, the designers opted for two additional cylinders, crafting a high-revving engine that responds more quickly than its competitors. As a result, Lexus may have unintentionally created one of the finest-sounding ten-cylinder engines available.

This responsiveness is remarkable. The LFA can rev up to 9,000 RPM and achieve this in just 0.6 seconds without a load. Its design features a split-journal crankshaft and a 72-degree cylinder angle for smooth performance, while individual throttle bodies amplify the intake sounds. And, not to be overlooked, the exhaust noise is emitted through three distinct tips mounted at the center of the rear bumper.

Regrettably, the era of the LFA was brief. Produced for only two years, from 2011 to 2012, just 500 units were made, each carrying an impressive starting price of $375,000. While Japan may not have its own version of Ferrari, it can proudly claim the legacy of the LFA.
