Exciting New Dining Choices and Upgrades on Carnival Cruise Ship

A Carnival cruise ship is set to resume operations following recent upgrades and new features added during its dry dock period.

Carnival Splendor

Carnival Splendor is scheduled to return to service next week, offering new dining choices and enhancements. This ship is among the latest in the Carnival Cruise Line fleet to go through its scheduled dry dock. For more information, you can check Carnival’s full dry dock schedule.

The vessel now features dining additions such as Mad Sizzle and Masala Tiger.

Mad Sizzle

Mad Sizzle will offer a selection of kebabs and satays featuring slow spit-roasted meats, and it is located on deck nine.

Masala Tiger

The popular Indian restaurant, Masala Tiger, has been relocated to a larger space on deck 10 due to its increasing demand.

Menus at other dining establishments have also received updates, including the Fahrenheit 555 steakhouse, which now features signature dishes like T-bone steak and fresh New Zealand pink snapper.

Additionally, all cabins on the cruise ship have been upgraded, with new whirlpool tubs installed in suites, and all balconies have undergone a complete refresh.

Other notable enhancements to the ship include:

  • Upgraded basketball court and jogging track
  • New gym equipment
  • A refreshed Thalasso therapy pool at Cloud 9 Spa
  • Improvements to the casino
  • Updated retail shops
  • Relocated and enhanced Dreams Photo Studio in the Atrium on Deck 3
  • Completely refreshed mini-golf course
  • Revamped Carnival WaterWorks

Mini Golf Course

Kara Glamore, vice president of Carnival Cruise Line Australia, commented:

“With her stunning new exterior and upgraded amenities, along with new entertainment options, Carnival Splendor is poised to deliver even more fun for our guests sailing from Sydney. Carnival aims to become Australia’s leading cruise brand by early next year, and we are excited to keep finding ways to enhance the experience for our guests.”

Starting in March 2025, Carnival Splendor and Carnival Luminosa will be joined by two additional sister ships in Australian waters as P&O Cruises Australia transitions to Carnival Cruise Line.

Pacific Adventure and Pacific Encounter will be rebranded as Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter, making Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet grow to four ships operating in Australia.
