Tesla is now deploying Software Version 2024.20, which introduces numerous enhancements to the flexible headlights, along with various other updates.
In a previous article, we discussed the benefits of the Smart Headlights, in addition to new gaming features and some adjustments to the Climate Control system. The modifications in the HVAC system aim to improve the performance of the Cybertruck.
Tesla introduces two fantastic new features with the latest software update
Headlights Adjust for Turns
The headlights in Tesla vehicles now respond to curves in the road ahead, improving visibility and safety.
This update benefits drivers in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Korea.
Enhancements to Adaptive Headlights (vehicles equipped with Matrix LED headlights)
Moreover, the Adaptive Headlights will now adjust for curves in the road ahead and provide more illumination during highway driving. This is a particularly useful feature since many individuals find it challenging to use headlights effectively at night on highways due to oncoming traffic.
The Tesla Matrix LED headlights will dim specific pixels to maintain visibility for drivers without dazzling others on the opposite side of the road.
Competing in Beach Buggy Supercharger Racing
Superchargers will now offer leaderboards for the Beach Buggy Racing game in Tesla’s arcade.
Climate Control Enhancements – Further Details Here
The ‘Auto’ mode for air conditioning will now cool the cabin more rapidly and efficiently. The vehicle will also improve the regulation of the high-voltage battery temperature to enhance charging performance at Superchargers.
The air conditioning system will now operate with reduced visibility and quieter operation in the Cybertruck.
