Prepare for the upcoming auction of various vehicles featured in the recent James Bond film, No Time to Die, happening this September. The event will commemorate 60 years of espionage movies and will showcase, for the first time, a stunt car Aston Martin DB5 up for grabs.

The auction will kick off on September 15 with an online sale of film memorabilia. However, the spotlight will be on the exclusive live auction, by invitation only, on September 28 at Christie’s in London. The auction will feature collectibles from various Bond eras, with a primary focus on items from No Time to Die, particularly the remarkable vehicles used in the film. Expect numerous stunt cars and a motorcycle to be showcased and sold, with estimated prices reaching into the millions. Let’s delve into the details.

The most affordable among the stunt vehicles on auction will likely be the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE bike from the film’s introductory chase, with an estimated sale price of around $36,500. Additionally, one of the two Jaguar XF sedans used in those scenes is expected to fetch up to $85,000.

Next in line are three Land Rover SUVs, commencing with a Range Rover Sport SVR, utilized in chase sequences, projected to reach up to $146,000. However, the spotlight will likely shift to a special Defender 110 V8 Bond Edition, one of 300 ever produced, which might be sold for up to $365,000. While not a stunt vehicle, the previous Land Rover (another Defender 110) played a pivotal role in both stunts and promotional tours for the film. To add to its allure, its VIN is 007, a factor Christie’s believes could drive its price over $600,000.

The auction’s prices soar higher as we approach the Aston Martin V8 Vantage from the movie, estimated to garner $850,000. However, the spotlight shines on the aforementioned DB5 stunt car, reported to be the first of its kind officially available for purchase. It’s anticipated to fetch up to $2,433,000, with the proceeds going to charity. Notably, other charitable organizations such as the British Red Cross and the Tusk Trust, dedicated to wildlife conservation, will also benefit from the auction.
