A video that circulated last week featured a somewhat famous car enthusiast supposedly spinning out of control and colliding with a building in a recently obtained McLaren Senna. Today, images of the aftermath have emerged. So, it appears, congratulations are in order for the owner as the car gets another chance to garner online views!

It’s a classic scenario, my friends. Individual acquires high-performance car, individual fails to show due respect for said vehicle, and a large stationary object emerges seemingly out of thin air to completely devastate that very same automobile. The only contemporary twist is the presence of numerous cameras documenting every facet of the mishap. It’s worth noting that the production quality often takes a nosedive during the crash sequences, though.

This time around, the car in question was an exceedingly exclusive vehicle, a testament to motorsport innovation and tradition—a McLaren Senna previously known as “Project Kilo” due to the careful specifications and customizations it underwent.

The design elements and characteristics of Project Kilo were recorded by its original proprietor known as “Shadow77” on the McLaren Life forum. They appeared quite enthusiastic about receiving the vehicle in 2018.

Shortly after that, the automobile made an appearance on YouTube doing what it was created for—engaging in track activities:

It’s heartening to observe the vehicle getting track experience before its rather unfortunate fate on a broad, deserted street in LA.

Approximately a week ago, the car resurfaced on YouTube once more, now under the possession of its apparent new proprietor:

Recent pictures of the vehicle, stranded like a Star Wars prop at a scrapyard in North Hollywood, appear much less graceful. Someone on Reddit noticed this late yesterday, and my acquaintance Raph at Road & Track also posted these images. The vehicle is currently possessed by salvage auction organization IAA, which signifies an opportunity to attract attention to this vehicle for the third time! Some individual needs to purchase it and restore it, correct? It will not be me… although that rear spoiler would give a stylish look to my 180-horsepower Civic.
