Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. has announced its participation in the Japan Mobility Show Bizweek 2024, which will take place from October 15 to 18, 2024, at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture. This event, organized by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. (JAMA), focuses on fostering collaboration between mobility-related companies and innovative startups poised to shape the future.
At the event, Daihatsu’s display will highlight its research and development efforts in MONODUKURI and KOTODUKURI, aimed at tackling challenges faced by local communities. The company hopes to promote business collaboration by creating new opportunities to connect with industry stakeholders.
Furthermore, Daihatsu will showcase its UNIFORM Truck in the car and motorcycle exhibition area designated for JAMA members. This truck represents a unique approach to carbon neutrality for mini commercial battery electric vehicles (BEVs) by integrating a futuristic business model involving mobile sales of hydroponically-grown vegetables on its truck bed.
