CarsGuide has revealed that the new Navigator will soon be available in Australia after undergoing a Right-Hand Drive (RHD) conversion by a local company called International Motor Cars. The initial price for the vehicle is set at $274,900 AUD, approximately equivalent to $175,000 USD based on current exchange rates. Despite the high price point, Lincoln anticipates there will be sufficient demand from customers.

Lincoln Australia and International Motor Cars CEO, David Potterhe, shared with CarsGuide that there has been significant interest in the Navigator in the past few days, indicating potential demand. He mentioned, “It’s an expensive car… but this is a bit of a test case, it’s our first one of these. The idea of doing the Lincolns is really just something that came about in the last few months. We’ve got our eye on a couple of other (models) but, at the moment, it’s just the Navigator that we’re bringing over.”

The report suggests that the Navigator will only be offered in the top-tier Black Label trim, equipped with Ford’s 3.5-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder engine. Potential buyers in Australia will have the choice between a base Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) model or an optional All-Wheel Drive (AWD) version. It remains uncertain if the long-wheelbase variant of the Navigator will be sold in the region.
CarsGuide has compared the pricing of the RHD Navigator with its key competitors, such as the BMW X7 priced at $171,900 AUD and the Range Rover Autobiography SWB starting at $274,210 AUD.
