According to him, the steel triangle design has garnered positive feedback, particularly from individuals who are new to electric vehicles and are experiencing the Cybertruck for the first time.

Buscemi took to platform X to share his involvement in a Tesla Cybertruck test drive event. He highlighted that many participants were novices in electric vehicles and were considering the Cybertruck as a replacement for their traditional gas-powered pickup trucks.

“Joined in for Cybertruck test drives. It’s amazing to see people try out steer-by-write for the first time! Many were new to the EV experience. And there’s a growing interest in adopting this innovative design over traditional combustion engines!” stated the Tesla owner in his X post.
Despite the prevalent negativity surrounding the Cybertruck on social platforms, its prowess as a formidable pickup truck remains undeniable. Therefore, providing drivers with the opportunity to experience the Cybertruck firsthand could significantly improve its acceptance rate. The test drive events hosted by Tesla for the Cybertruck are pivotal in allowing drivers to assess the vehicle while getting behind its distinctive “squircle” steering wheel.
