In a partnership with Hedley Studios, previously known as the Little Car Company, Bentley is providing vintage car enthusiasts with a unique opportunity to own a new Blower. This renowned model is being reintroduced in a limited edition of 349 units, although it is scaled down to 85% of the original size. The Blower Junior will not contain the original 4.5-litre supercharged engine from the 1929 model; instead, it will be powered by a 15-kilowatt electric motor.

Hedley Studios has developed a configurator for the Bentley Blower Jnr that includes six special packages, each celebrating Bentley’s esteemed heritage. Interested buyers can customize one of the 250 planned vehicles, choosing to drive the miniature reboot in a historic blue from the “Blue Pack,” which pays tribute to Woolf Barnato’s famous race against the Blue Train from the Côte d’Azur to Calais. The “Grey Pack,” on the other hand, honors the Bentley Speed Six that triumphed at Le Mans in 1929 and 1930 before Barnato modified it into a road-ready coupe. Alongside 99 First Edition models, 250 additional vehicles are available for configuration, much to the excitement of classic car aficionados who are intrigued by this small electric version.

“Since we introduced the Bentley Blower Jnr last year, the response has been fantastic, and with the First Editions sold out, we’re thrilled to offer customizable options for the Blower Jnr now,” stated Ben Hedley, CEO of Hedley Studios. “Craftsmanship is integral to our mission, and our online configurator allows customers to create their own Bentley Blower Jnr, giving them a chance to own a piece of history with a personal touch.”

The compact Blower is the product of a close collaboration between Bentley’s Heritage Collection and British Hedley Studios. The original 1929 Team Car, valued at £25 million, served as a model for creating this scaled-down version, which replicates the original in detail at 85% of its size. Consequently, the mini Blower measures only 3.70 meters in length and 1.50 meters in width. Unlike other offerings from Hedley Studios, the Blower Jnr is street-legal and is designed to stand out in urban environments.

Instead of the powerful supercharged engine, the Blower Jnr is equipped with an electric motor that delivers a modest 15 kW / 20 PS. While the original model could achieve speeds of up to 160 km/h, the mini version is limited to just 72 km/h, making it suitable for urban driving. This electric two-seater has a range of approximately 100 kilometers before requiring a recharge. The charging port has replaced where the supercharger once was, though it takes around twelve hours to fully recharge without fast-charging capabilities.

Inside, which starts at a price of £90,000, the Junior mimics the original’s design—just in a smaller format. The hand pump originally for fuel supply has been adapted to serve as a mode selector, enabling the driver to switch between Comfort (2 kW), Bentley (8 kW), and Sport (15 kW) settings. The driving gears operate via a lever reminiscent of the old ignition pre-selector. Other controls for the headlights and indicators echo the look and materials of the magnetic switches found in the Team Car, while the battery charge level can be monitored using a traditional-style ammeter. However, the navigation display and rear-view camera appear somewhat out of place within the nostalgic aluminum dashboard.
