The addition of a new Hyundai dealership in Wigan marks the second step in Chorley Group’s plan to expand its operations in the North West.
An additional Hyundai location in Ormskirk is also in the works and expected to open later this year.
This Hyundai dealership has found its home in a recently acquired property on Miry Lane, formerly under the ownership of Bravo Auto & First Class Motors, which was purchased from the Inchcape group.
The Hyundai Wigan branch is now open for business, featuring a newly constructed five bay workshop and a central digital administrative hub.
In the upcoming months, Chorley Group will be focusing on expanding and enhancing the site to generate more employment opportunities and align it with Hyundai’s latest corporate identity standards.
This announcement comes on the heels of the recent completion of a significant renovation at Chorley Group’s Lancashire center in Ormskirk, where Peugeot has become part of the dealership alongside Vauxhall, and its expansion in Blackpool has welcomed Peugeot and MG back to the Fylde coast.
Chorley Group boasts 21 different franchises and maintains a workforce of 400 individuals spread across various locations in the North West.
The company’s strategy revolves around establishing multi-franchise “experiential” destinations that prioritize offering customers a wide variety of options and convenient services.
