“Today’s announcement highlights the wide range of destinations and itineraries we offer. We believe that variety is crucial for guests to craft memorable cruises as they plan their vacations. Both New Orleans and Long Beach are integral to our homeport strategy, providing exciting new options for travelers departing from these ports as we further enhance our cruise schedule for 2026-27,” stated Fred Stein, vice president of itinerary planning for Carnival Cruise Line.

Carnival is rolling out a selection of itineraries aboard Carnival Valor and Carnival Liberty from New Orleans, a port where the cruise line recently marked 30 years of year-round service and welcomed its seven-millionth guest. Carnival Valor will operate four- and five-day cruises to the Western Caribbean, making stops at popular Mexican ports such as Cozumel and Progreso throughout 2026 and early 2027.
