Bugatti Unveils Opulent ‘High Performance’ Furniture Collection for Affluent Clients
Bugatti has set its sights on luxury home furnishings, introducing a new series of exquisite furniture pieces that draw inspiration from its renowned cars. Announced on Tuesday, this line aims to capture the essence of the upscale lifestyle associated with the hypercar manufacturer.
Crafted from a blend of innovative materials, including "extremely soft high-performance technical fabrics," marble, carbon fiber, and lazurite relative sodalite, the furniture collection is a result of collaboration with Luxury Living Group. The designs pay homage to the artistic vision of Carlo Bugatti, the father of the company’s founder Ettore. Carlo, an interior designer, envisioned a lounge chair in 1902 that influenced the limited-edition “Cobra Chair” included in the collection.

The "Cobra Chair" stands out as the only piece directly reflecting the company’s automotive legacy. The collection includes at least four items named after the iconic Bugatti Chiron—consisting of a couch, an armchair, a “dormeuse” (a recliner), and a bed—but disappointingly lacks images to showcase them. This omission feels letdown, especially considering the affection for race car-themed furniture.

The collection also features a “Vitesse Chair” and a set of angular “Legacy Vases,” which some say resemble props from a sci-fi film. While the design of the “Marguerite Coffee Table” has received praise for its aesthetic appeal, it remains unclear whether the two-tiered surfaces can be repositioned—for now, its uniqueness has garnered some level of acceptance.
As for the price tag of this luxurious collection? Bugatti has chosen not to disclose any figures, which typically suggests a high-cost bracket. Despite this somewhat uneventful launch—especially compared to Lamborghini’s uninspiring furniture line—Bugatti’s foray into upscale furnishings shows potential for the luxury market.
