Amidst the global shift towards electric performance cars, Bugatti has pleasantly surprised us all with the unveiling of the 2025 Tourbillon V16. This extraordinary creation intertwines a colossal 16-cylinder naturally aspirated motor with an electric front axle, resulting in a staggering 1,800 horsepower priced at €3.8 million.

It truly stands as a declaration of traditional power and speed.

The brilliant mind behind this engineering wonder, Mate Rimac, renowned for his electric supercars, has exceeded all expectations with the Tourbillon V16. Strikingly, this vehicle achieves 1,000 horsepower from its 8.3-litre engine without the use of forced induction. It is further enhanced by electric motors that provide an additional 800 horsepower, culminating in a total power output of 1,800 horsepower.

Both the front and rear electric motors are powered by a 25.4 kWh, 800-volt battery, granting a commendable 60 km range when operating in full electric mode.

When pushed to its limits, the Tourbillon V16 can rocket from 0-100 km/h in a mere 2 seconds, sprint to 200 km/h in under 5 seconds, and hit 300 km/h in less than 10 seconds. It can achieve a mind-blowing speed of 400 km/h in under 25 seconds, boasting a top velocity of 445 km/h. These speeds are made safer by the custom Michelin tires, specifically crafted for this remarkable vehicle.

Although the external design of the Tourbillon V16 may bear similarities to an updated Chiron, the interior presents a unique and distinct ambience. The cockpit showcases an exclusive display with an analog-style design inspired by the elegance of Richard Mille timepieces. With limited production of just 250 units at Bugatti’s Molsheim plant, each carrying a price tag of €3.8 million, this car is poised to become a collector’s treasure once deliveries commence in 2026.
