BMW is all prepared to reveal a novel prototype at the prestigious 2024 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. Dubbed as the Vision Skytop, here are the premier visuals.
The 2024 BMW Vision Skytop emerges as an open-air roadster, evidently inspired by the 8 Series platform. It showcases a sleek, avant-garde layout highlighted by a more traditional front grille design. The highlighted grilles are flanked by slender LED front lights. The extended bonnet flaunts vents with a distinctive central spine.
There’s an absence of sharp lines along the sides, contributing to its seamless appearance. Even the door handles have been cleverly integrated within the window frame. The distinctive Hofmeister kink is visible on the B-pillars.
As a roadster, the Vision Skytop features two removable roof sections. The flared wheel arches smoothly merge into the rear segment, which boasts slim LED rear lights and a pair of round exhaust outlets.
The interior of the Vision Skytop bears resemblance to that of the 8 Series, draped in crimson leather. The suspended buttress behind the cabin sports an identical matte red finish that artfully transitions into the rose gold exterior hue over the rear decklid.
Presently, no technical specifications for the BMW Vision Skytop have been disclosed.
